Scrumping

This is the fifth  post for the Classic Design challenge.

Boy Climbing Tree.

Isn't this just a classic childhood image, climbing trees to get apples. I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. I used a punch to take the front edge off the card. A patterned covers the rest of the front of the card. Then the sentiment has been added with the edge cut with the same punch as the edge of the card base. It's not that obvious from the pictures but there is also a patterned paper inside the card that can be seen down the edge.

This one is just pretty in pink. I've kept the colouring quite light. All the papers are in shades of pink. Then a pink bow and a few gems round the sentiment. Quite a girly card.

I've used 2 of the designs from this set. The darker sheet to make the background. Then on the lighter design I have used distress oxide inks through a stencil from Sweet Poppy to add the Seahorse. I've used glossy accents to make bubbles just to decorate, with a sentiment to complete.

I have kept this to a fairly simple design. The image has been done twice and coloured with polychromo pencils. Then I've just stamped a birthday sentiment and layered it on pink and metallic gold card.

This is the Ornate Aperture frame from Sweet Poppy Stencils. I've used gold paste through the stencil. The sentiment is also from Sweet Poppy and it has been stamped and embossed in gold. I've then die cut a Poinsettia in black and gold too. Quite a simple design but I hope you think  classy black and gold Christmas card.

Stag

It's time for the last challenge of 2023 at

the Critter Crazy challenge.

Our theme is simple use a critter as the main image of your card.

The gorgeous Stag is a stencil from Sweet Poppy Stencils. I have used paste through the stencil and let is dry over night. then colour of the paste using Copic pens. I've used another stencil called Plaid to make a panel to which I've attached the sentiment. I love working with stencils and these make a brilliant card for the men in our lives.

I really love this little Curly Coo. I've coloured him with Polychromo pencils. Mine are blue, green and brown. 

I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. I have then used 2 stencils from Sweet Poppy. The first is the Plaid stencil round the edge of the base card in blue. Then the next layer is grass in green. Finally the sentiment is have a great day, I don't think the rider is necessarily having a good day though.

Another new month so a new challenge at Critter crazy.

Where has this year gone it's nearly Christmas. 

My image this month is from Di's Digi's called

Racoon Rose.

I've coloured this cute Racoon with Polychromo pencils. The background patterned paper is quite dramatic with these lovely sunflowers on, so I coloured a couple of the flowers in the image to blend in with it. Then there a 3 velvet leaves with a little yellow flower. A sentiment completes this card.

I've coloured this cute Scottie dog with polychromo pencils. The background is a patterned paper. Then I've made a plaid layer using a Sweet Poppy Stencil. The flowers in the image I decided to make 3D by adding paper flowers over the top. I thought these die cut corners seem to match the plaid layer. Then just a Happy Birthday stamp to finish.

I've coloured this fab Pelican and Seagull image with polychromo pencils. I've used a background paper of shells and a light house. Then my layers are made up of mostly die cuts. With the waves at the bottom of the light house, a compass and the sea gulls. A seashell in the one corner. Finally a sentiment.

October Birthday

It's new challenge time at Critter Crazy.

The theme is always Anything Goes

but make sure that an animal is the main image on your entry.

I'm not really into Halloween cards, but I loved these cute bats so wanted to try and make it  birthday card for an October birthday or just someone that likes bats.

I've coloured these cute bats with polychromo pencils. There are 2 patterned papers that make the back ground with a colour matching ribbon across the join. Also I added some tiny silver diecut stars on the top section of the card. Then I have made up the sentiment on my computer.
