Penguin Pals

It's time for my last card of 2018 and it's my inspiration for the Colour Crazy Craft Challenge.

Our sponsor is Polkadoodles and this is two of their images called 2 cute penguins and they come as a set.

I have coloured them with alcohol pens and die cute them out. The card is an 8x8 and the front of the card has been folded back to make a zig zag effect.

As you can see from the first photo I have actually made them 2 different sizes. The background paper has a snowflake pattern on it.

I have added a large bow with a silver snowflake charm, some candy dots and the sentiment has been die cut.

A little Christmas bird told me

Polkadoodles is the sponsor for the new challenge over at The colour crazy challenge.

This is one of their images called Robin Gift Branch.

I've coloured her with alcohol pens and die cut the image and layers of card. The Ponsettias are silk with a brad on the centre. There are also 2 ribbons down the side one is white with green leaves down the edges and the other is narrower and runs down the middle with a bow on it.

I have added some crystal snowflakes over the top of the snowflakes on the patterned paper. Then lots of Wink of Stella glitter pen on the fairy wings, the background snowflakes and the background of the image. The Merry Christmas greeting is a 3d embellishment. she is so cute.

Snow Bears

It's nearly December, and here is my card for the new challenge over at Colour Crazy Craft challenge.

Our sponsor this time is Crafty Sentiments and this is one of there image called Benson and Betty.

It's a cute Christmas image and I've coloured it with alcohol pens. I have die cut the image and as usual added lots of layers of patterned papers and co-ordinating coloured card.

There is a leafy christmas ribbon down the left side and I have cut of some leaves to decorate the corners of the image and added some red gems for berries. and just a christmas greeting to complete.

Eskimo Kisses

I've made a lovely Christmas card for this month challenge at

I've coloured them with copic pens and I was lucky enough to find this 12x12 sheet in my christmas stash that was a perfect match.

 It's time for a new challenge at Make my Monday and the theme this time is stencils.

I've used my favourite Sweet Poppy Stencils and stencil paste.

This one is Shoe 6, lilac pearl paste and crystalina rainbow glitter.

The shoe has been pasted onto acetate. There is a black card behind with a silver embossed frame round it and a lovely big lilac bow to join them together.  I love using these products.

My card is very much a mans card with lots of numbers in clock form.

It's time for a little colouring over at Colour Crazy Craft Challenge.

I have coloured the image using Polychromo pencils, and I had to make her a little rainbow.

I have used a little floral background paper. Then the panels I have created to look a little rainbow to using distress inks on water colour paper. For a bit of decoration there is a bow, ribbon and some candy dots.  A birthday greeting completes.

It's new challenge time over at Crafting with an Attitude.

The theme is always Anything Goes.

And for my inspiration I've been playing Sweet Poppy again.

The background of this card has been using stencil leafy background 2 using distress inks through it. I have then done the Thistles stencil with black paste. I have cut the image into a triptych, The birthday greeting is stamped and I've just added some cotton lace and some gems. I really love Sweet Poppy stuff.

Winter Tag

This post is  so late, but have have not been very well, a lovely seasonal cold. This is my inspiration for this months challenge at Make my Monday, where the theme is animals.

This is a variation on a tag I did a while back just using a different animal.

 It is quite quick to make, using Clarity stamps and some distress ink. The deer has been coloured in with alcohol pens. I have just added some yarns and a die cut snowflake with a pearl in the centre.

Autumn Leaves

Here is my Inspiration for the Autumn Colours challenge over at

Make my Monday challenge.

I've used items from one of my favourite companys Sweet Poppy stencils.

This is the Maple leaf stencil.

I have made the background using distress inks through the stencil and then another layer of ink after the stencil has been removed. Then I have used gold stencil  paste through the stencil and sprinkled glitter over the top. The sentiment is stamped in gold pearlesent ink. This was quite a quick card to make, but really pleased with the end result.

New Month New challenge at Crafting with an Attitude. Where does the time go, summer nearly over and christmas on the way.

I decided to use 3 images for my card and they have been coloured using alcohol pens. I have then layered them up using dark turquoise and silver card. on to the dark turquoise background. Then just a lighter blue ribbon and a punched out circular stamped sentiment.

It's a wonderful town

This is my inspiration for the new challenge at  Make my Monday, where the theme this month is New York New York.

I have done a fairly simple card design. I have made the red, white and blue background using distress ink. then I have stenciled over the top using a Clarity stencil and Hickory smoke distress ink. I have added a bit of extra distressing with a embossing ink pen and clear powder. Also a bit of Wink of stellar glitter pen, but they don't show up very well on the photo. The sentiment is from a very famous song and was just typed up by hand and punched out.

I've coloured the image using my alcohol pens, it has then been die cut and some matching coloured layers.

Out of the left over backing paper I cut out come of the stars and 3d'd them and I added a little stickles to all the spots too, Finally I added the magical day sentiment.

Back to School

This is really late for the latest Make my Monday challenge, I have just been so busy covering holidays at work, this is the first chance I have had to put this on.

The theme this time is Back to School.  I think that is easy to see from the card.

I have done quite a simple design. I have used a piece of ordinary school book type paper for the background. I have use a stencil for the ink splats. The ruler is a stamp and coloured with a little distres ink Pumice Stone. I have cut out the stars from a piece of patterned paper. And the words are die cut. A nice quick card for a change for me.

This is my inspiration card for this weeks Colour Crazy Challenge and the them as always is anything Goes. Our sponsor this time is Ching-Chou Kuik and this is one of her images called Ladybug circle.

I have coloured the image using Copic pens and added a little glitter to the Ladybirds wings.

The background is a stamp by Studio Light from the Romantic Botanic range. I have then coloured it using distress inks. 

I have coloured white paper flowers with distress ink to match the coloured image. The sentiment is a stamp and it has been layered up on a die cut circle and then onto the flower.
