Winter Robin

I have had a break over Christmas but I have finally finished this tag. This is the second one I have done, I did 2 background scene's at the same time but it took a little longer to finish this one as I have hand-drawn the fence at the bottom and then stamped the robin on and coloured them in.

All the stamps used, (trees, robin, word), are Clarity stamps. I was really pleased with the design, with the Robin being the only coloured part, the rest being monochrome, he really jumps out the background. I also added a little snow paste to the tops of the fence. I hope we don't have to many winter scenes like this in the weeks to come.

Snow Deer

Just an extra little post today in the form of a tag. I have been playing a bit and trying different ideas.
The night sky on this tag has been done using the Spectrum Noir BG pens. The deer has been coloured with the same colours.

I have only added a couple of extra bits, a star done in Stickles and a snowflake in glitter card using a  Marianne die with a gem in the centre.

A simple sentiment on the top finishes it off.
I decided to keep it quite simple as I really liked how the background scene came out.

Halloween

Welcome to this weeks card for The Hobbycutz Challenge, this weeks theme is Halloween. Our sponsor this week is Bearly Mine who have supplied the lovely papers I have used to make my card.

I decided to do a triple easel, I found this 12x12 of some really cute images from We r Memorykeepers and I like them so much I couldn't choose which one's to use. So I made a card so I could use a few of them. The shape has been cut using a Go Kreate die.

I put a glitter spider and a nasty black spider on for added effect.

Then some Hobbycutz pumpkins that I have coloured with distress inks. I am quite pleased with the overall effect.

Fabulous

Welcome to this weeks DT card for Hobbycutz, the theme for this week is Black, White and one other colour ( I've classes the other colour as the skin tone). Our sponsor this week is Kenny K and this is one of their images called Jessie Jane, I think she is fantastic and have loved working with her.

I have done something a bit different this week so Jessie is more in keeping with the bland and white theme. I have only coloured her skin with my Tria pens the rest of her has been Zentangled, a new craze which seems to be taking off quite well, and I think is looks really good. The are a lot of Spellbinders dies on this card and a couple of Marianne dies.

Jessie is sitting on a wooden heart from Hobbycutz which I have coloured with black soot distress ink and the word fabulous is a die cut to, I do love black and white cards. That completes one sexy lady.

Hi and welcome to my first card for the Hobbycutz Challege as a DT member. I am enjoying working with all my fellow DT members and getting inspiration from all the lovely samples.

Our sponsor is The Stamping Chef and this is one of their lovely images.

I've coloured the image using Tria pens and the edge has been distresses with festive Berries. I have used quite a few die cuts from Spellbinders and Joy Craft dies. The card base is a Stepper card that I have cut the card centre out and replaced it with snow patterned acetate.

I'vr added some paper flowers to the die cut Swirls, some lovely cotton lace and a red ribbon bow.

I have put some snow effect liquid on the dress and hat trim to make it look a bit like fur and a few gems to complete. I think she is a lovely image.

In Oz

I've had a productive weekend and here's another card I've done. This time it's a digi image from Sherri Baldy's Besties of Oz collection. I love these images and this is the first card I have had chance to make using them. The image has been coloured using Tria pens. It has then been cut out using spellbinder's dies.

The card base is cut out using a Martha Stewart punch around the page set. Then I have added some dried grass heads because I felt it seemed a little autumnal in colour and they suited the image. A couple of butterfly charms and the little dog charm I thought looked just like Toto. And lastly the sentiment is a Lili of the Valley stamp. For the first colouring I've done in a while I felt quite pleased.

She love's butterflies so I thought I would decorate this card with them for a baptism card but a bit different from normal types of decoration.

This is the first image I have coloured for a long time. I went out for a day's colouring at Sir Stampalot using Saturated Canary images and this is one of the cards I did. I used Tria pens to colour her in.

Thank you ladies, you have brought back my desire to get out my pens and colour again. I hope you don't mind if I enter this card in a couple of challenges as the colouring is all my own work.

Necklace

Hi thanks for coming to look at my second piece of jewellery I have decided to add to my blog.
It's a red, black and gold  necklace.

The circular pendent piece is done first, then the I decided to add the spiral necklace onto to it permenantly which was slightly different to the original pattern.

It's made up of red, black and gold seed beads, red pearls, black bi-cones and a magnetic clasp to finish. I am putting this onto Beading Friends Forever February Challenge in the anything goes section.
