New Baby

Colour Crazy Crafts have a new challenge starting today.

Our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments Designs and this is one of their images called Gaffe.

I just had to make a New Baby card with it, it's just so cute.

I've coloured him with copic pens and put some polychromo pencil colour over the top. As usual for me there are lots of layers in this card. I have also recycled the sentiment topper in the corner. I made that quite a while ago and it has just sat in a box waiting to be used and being as this card is intended for a little thing I though it fit in.

There is some floral ribbon across the middle, this again was a left over piece that just happened to fit, plus a lovely bow and the die cut words new baby.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges

Crafty Friends - B is for Baby
Classic DT - ATG
Craft-dee Bowz - Use a bow
Creative Craft Cottage - Dies/punches

summer panel

It's new challenge time over at Make My Monday. The theme this time has been chosen by me and it is Hint of Summer.

I wanted to use hot warm colours to represent summer.

So I used distress inks Worn Lipstick,Tumbled Glass, Fossilised Amber and Shabby Shutters to colour a marked of panel diagonally across my card base. When that was dry I stamped the Penny Black stamp Dreamy Flower in smokey grey archival ink so that the flower head sits in the coloured panel.

I then stamped it once in the bottom corner and embossed it in white.  Just a happy birthday sentiment to complete.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges

Stamping Sensations - Close to Nature
Cards in Envy - Flat cards
Dream Valley - Summer Colours
Crafting with Dragonflies - Happy Birthday
Penny Black Saturday - Favourite PB stamp
Crafty Gals Corner - Add a flower
