Fairy Nuff

First I would like to say sorry I haven't been  blogging as much in recent weeks but I have had an operation on my foot and the tablets I was taking have been making me a bit ill. But I'm on the mend now and will do better to keep up.

This card I have enjoyed doing as it is the first chance I have had to colour for a while. She is so cute, an image from The Paper Shelter. I have coloured her with Tria Pens and cut her out with a Spellbinders die. The backing papers are from Bo Bunny and the flowers are from The Hobby House.

Other bits I have used are Martha Stewart border punches, the glass accent and pearl are Tim Holtz and the sentiment is a Lili of the Valley. The pink backing card has been embossed with a folder but for the life of me I can't remember the brand.

Pastel Pretty

Hello again and welcome to this weeks
This weeks theme is
Using Pastel Colours
Our sponsor this weeks is Crafter's Companion with a £10 voucher

My card this week is a round easel card. The shape has been cut using a Spellbinders large scalloped die. The embossed lines have been made by using the die in different sizes put on the back of the card and held in place with low tack tape. The is is put through the Grand Calibur but instead of using the cutting plates use the rubber mat, the base plate and the embossing plate, then it puts the embossed lines in instead of cutting. It has then been distressed using Tim Holtz Rusty Hinge. There is a patterned paper covering the inside of the card and a butterfly has been die cut to make the stop.

I have then used a Wee Stamps topper image layered onto pink card cut with the scalloped die. Plus some lovely pastel flowers with 2 die cut leaves using a Marianne Die. The topper and flowers are from Hobby House. So pretty.
