It's time for the latest Hobbycutz challenge and this is my DT card for this week. It's a sketch challenge this week and this is my idea taken from that sketch. It's quite a simple idea really and would be suitable for any occasion where you would like to say Congratulations.

Run For It

Hi, this is my first card for the Inky Impressions Inspirational DT. He is called Workout Cat and you can find him here. I have coloured him using Prisma Pencils, I have been using them for a long time now but never for anything I have put on my blog, I hope you all like the results.

I have used die cut grass to frame the image and a Well Done sentiment in the corner. The way this poor soul is sweating he deserves a well done don't you think?
I hope this gives you some ideas.

First Birthday

My post for today is just because I had made this card for an up and coming 1st birthday and I liked it so much I wanted to share it. I have used a new Crafters Companion Bebunni stamp, he is so cute, and I have coloured it with my Spectrum Noir pens.

I have put the image on to a stepper card, the image has been cut out with Go Create dies using distress card.

I have cut out 2 scrolls and added some nice pink flowers. Needless to say it is for a little girl.
I hope you like it.

It's New

It's challenge time again at Hobbycutz and the theme this week is something new, that could be new baby, new house or just new craft item.
Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments and this is one of there images. I have gone with new craft item which is the pre cut base card, not new as such but it is the first time I have used them. I have always cut my own but a friend gave me these a while ago and I thought I would give them a try. I have been a bit craft lazy over Christmas and needed to catch up.

I've coloured the image using Spectrum Noir pens and then added more shading using Prisma pencils. I have accented the image using a Hobbycutz wooden circle which I have cut in half and has been coloured with Pickled Raspberry distress ink to make it match the colour scheme better.

Please join in our challenge, you just may win.

It's a Girl

It's challenge time again at The Crafting Cafe and the theme is Anything Goes.
Our sponsor this month is The Stamping Boutique and this is one of their lovely images.
The prize is 3 digi's of your choice, so with such an easy theme come and have a go and enter.

The image has been coloured with pens and A Wink of Glitter brush pens, unfortunately the glitter doesn't show up on these photo's. The card base is a stepper card. The image has been die cut using Spellbinders dies and the swirl is a Cheery Lyn. My favourite flowers in pinks and yellows with some punched leaves.
A little pink bow finishes it off.
