Shoes and bling

The Paper Shelter are the sponsors for this weeks challenge at The Crafty Catz.

This is one of their images called Made about Shoes.

This comes as an image set with b/w digi, coloured digi and background paper.

I've used the coloured and b/w images for this card.

I coloured the girl with polychromo pencils. I then cut her out and applied her over the ready coloured image. It gave her a bit more depth and she stand out a bit more from the background.

I used a patterned paper in the background. Then to decorate added some ribbon, feathers, gems and of course her bling. The sentiment was done on my computer.

Cute Koala

I'm hosting this weeks challenge at the Crafty Catz.

and this is one of their images called Almost Cute Koala.

The theme is use some pink.

I've coloured this cute Koala with polychromo pencils. The colour I chose to go with the pink is gray. Using pink patterned paper and plain gray card. I've decorated with pink flowers and gray die cut leaves. The sentiment has been punched out using a stamp edge punch.

I've coloured him with polychromo pencils. I just had to give him a check shirt and thought he might like matching slippers. So I kept the background papers check patterned too. Then just some card candy and a sentiment. Archie and his dog certainly resemble one another.

I though I would keep the colours of this quite simple. So I've coloured it with polychromo pencils just in black and red. I've also kept the background really simple to with just a red ribbon and a greeting. It's such a clean elegant image I thought I would keep the design the same.

Beach Life

It's new challenge time at the Classic Design challenge.

The image has been coloured with Polychromo pencils. The background image I found on the internet. I've diecut some striped paper to look like waves and also some die cut seagulls. Then just added a birthday sentiment. I would love to spend time on that beach, I hope you would too.

Kingfisher

It's a new month so that means a new challenge at the Critter Crazy challenge.

The theme is just to make sure that a critter is the main feature on your creation.

My main image this time i a new stamp set from Sweet Poppy Stencils.

Simply called Kingfisher, isn't he beautiful.

The background is a stencil called Oriental Cherry Blossom. Which I have inked lightly. The Kingfisher has been coloured using Polychromo pencils. Then just die cut. The sentiment comes in the kingfisher stamp set.

Such a lovely stamp set and the stencil compliments it really well.
