Wise Old Owl

Today is the start of a new challenge at the Crafty Catz.

The theme this week is things with wings.

I've used the Owl stamp set from Sweet Poppy.

These are quite big stamps and it fills  the card all on it's own.

I've coloured it with Copic pens. And then just added the sentiment. A really simple design.

Floral Collage

I just fancied doing a card with a difference today so I just thought I would share it.

I saw something similar and just wanted to try it myself.

I've used mostly Sweet Poppy Products with just an old script stamp.

I started in the bottom left and put in the 3 Tulips. Then I masked off the tulip on the right so that I could add the first of the script stampings and partially overlap the tulip. I  then stamped the script again above the tulips this time down the page. I then used a leaf spray from the Sprigs and Sentiment set.

I then lightly coloured in the leaves and tulips using Polychromo Pencils. The Fern stencil has been inked and then die cut out. The butterfly is also a diecut. There is then an extra sentiment from Autumn Leaves stamp set. I was really pleased with the outcome.

I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. Then kept the rest of the card plain except for the celebrate sentiment. Some times a really quick card is what you really need.

I've added quite a bit of blue on mine. The image has been coloured with polychromo pencils. The background patterned paper is from Lavinia Stamps. I've added another patterned paper layer. The paper flowers have been shaded with distress ink and a brad put through. Then just a sentiment to complete.

Howdie Missie

For my 3rd post today for the Classic Design Challenge

I've used an image from The Paper Shelter

called Adorable Cowgirl.

I love this image, it's so cute. I've coloured her with polychromo pencils. 

The background has been done with distress inks and a plaid stencil so all the colours match. The sentiment is from Sweet Poppy. Then to decorate I've added some blue gems, hessian ribbon and 2 wooden horseshoes.

For my 2nd birthday post for the Classic Design challenge.

I've used the image New Hair Do

from All Dressed up.

I've used a lovely patterned paper in the background for this one. Then using Polychromo pencils coloured the image to match. There are a few clear gems decorating the paper and then just a birthday sentiment to complete.

It's a new month so a new challenge at Critter Crazy.

Our theme as always is anything goes with a critter.

Just make sure your critter is the focal point of your card.

For my card this month I have a lovely blue Turtle. It's a stamp from Sweet Poppy Stencils. I've coloured it with polychromo pencils. The background has been made using Alcohol inks. The rope knots are die cut. The sentiment is also from this stamp set.

It's our birthday this month at the Classic Design Challenge.

So this is the 1st of 3 post to celebrate.

This image called Goha Digital Stamps.

This is one of their images 2EUR Parrot.

I've decided on a CAS design for this card. The parrot is coloured with polychromo pencils. The edges of the base card have been coloured using a stencil called Scales, but I thought it seemed to fit well with feathers. Then just a very apt sentiment from Sweet Poppy.
