I've coloured Fido with polychromo pencils. In the background I've used 2 Sweet Poppy stencils. One is called  Net but the leaf one is no longer available. Then I've just used a die cut birthday sentiment to finish. He does look really happy playing with his ball doesn't he.

Sorry for the delay in posting this, why is it when I schedule a post but I'm still at home it always  works. But a scheduled post when I'm away doesn't. Oh well better late than never.

So here is this weeks new challenge at the Crafty Catz.

The optional theme this week is  spots and stripes.

I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. I've used 2 stencils in the background to create the spots and stripes. The navy spots have been punched out of the same card I have layered the image onto. The birthday sentiment has been stamped and layered onto the same navy card again using punches.

I have kept this card clean and simple. The image has been coloured with Polychromo pencils.  The edge of the base card has been coloured with distress ink through a brick wall stencil. Then I have die cut the sentiment in gray. I think the use of the gray make the flowers in the wheelbarrow look bright and summery.

The days and months go by so quick.

So here at Critter Crazy it's time for a new challenge.

The theme is Anything Goes

as long as a critter is the main image on your card.

For my card this month I've gone with a monochrome theme. The cat and mouse are a stencil which I have just used black and gray distress ink. I've used the same colours around the edge of another layer of card. These have been layered up on a white card base. I have then just added a sentiment on the side.
