2 Shepherds

For the current challenge over at the Colour Crazy Craft Challenge. I couldn't decide on the colour so I did 2 colourways.
Both use the same image from our sponsor which is All Dressed up and the image is

The first version I've done in blue. Coloured with Polychromo pencils.
There are 3 patterned papers and card for layers.

I've then decorated with some ribbon, snowflake buttons and a circular sentiment. There is just a little sparkle on the stars on the image.

The second I've done in red colours. Also coloured with polyhromo pencils. A different layout for this one using only 2 patterned papers and some matching layers.

For this one I've used some tree shaped brads and wrapped red twine round them to decorate. Also with a circular sentiment and a little sparkle.

Stag

It's the last challenge for 2020 at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge.

For my card this month I used a Sweet Poppy Stag Courage stencil.

To start with I made the circle scene. I've used the Sweet Poppy circle stencil to put in the background colour. Then I've stamped in the Lavinia trees and added some tiny shade detail with pencils

. Then I've used white paste through the stag stencil, parts of the stencil have been masked off as I only wanted the stag on this card. Once dry I've coloured over the paste with Copic alcohol pens.

Finally the sentiments are from Sweet Poppy too and just a hessian knot. I think this is a great male card.

The images have been coloured with polychromo pencils, then die cut to make them square. The background paper is from Winnie white Christmas printable papers 3. The sentiment is from Festive word art.

I've decorated it with some die cut leaves and poinsettias.

vintage postcard

I couldn't wait to try out this new stencil from Sweet Poppy
It's a postcard.

I've made all this distressed. Using distress ink to colour and distressing the edges of all the layers. The stamps are from Lavinia stamps and are all stamped in distress inks to give them the faded look. I have distressed the lace as well. The sentiment is also from Sweet Poppy. I was really pleased with the outcome So many other ideas for this stencil can't wait to do them.

Strange flower

There is a new challenge starting today at the Colour Crazy Craft challenge. Our sponsor this time is Createful Heart Designs and this is one of their imaged called Harvey Hedgehog and Bradford Bee.

I decided to do a bit of a backward card. So I have used a gatefold card design and decorated it with toning striped paper and die cut and inked decorations and sentiment.

3 of a kind

What a day, So busy and the internet doesn't want to work.

So it's new challenge time over at  the Polkadoddles challenge. We had ro make a matching card, gift bag and tag this time.

So mine are more coordinating than matching, as I took all the same images, background papers and colours but I've kind of switch them around on the different items so they look a bit different.

The image I have used is from the Winnie white Christmas collection called Winnie Wings. I have printed the image twice and coloured it with polychromo pencils. The background papers are from Winnie white Christmas printable papers 3. And the sentiment is from Winnie white Christmas coloured toppers. I have some white paste for a 3D effect on the fur and a little shimmer on her wings.

Some of the papers and toppers have been printed onto kraft card to give it a different feel. I have punched out part of second coloured  image to decorate the gift bag. Finally matching ribbon on all the items.

Abstract Christmas

This time I've made a christmas card that is a little bit different. I have used Sweet Poppy Stencils and Pastes.

The background stencil is called Abstract and I've used distress ink in red and green. Then I have used the Winter Scene with black paste.

Finally the Merry Christmas vertical sentiment stencil with white paste and white glitter. I think this is quite a modern looking Christmas card.

Christmas Gift

The theme for the new challenge over at Polkadoodles is make a gift.

I've made a writing set.

I've recycled a box for the base. It was a lovely box and would have been a shame to throw it away. I have covered it inside and out with papers from Winnie White Christmas printable papers 1. I have added a bit of extra decoration to the top of the box with a stencil, some flowers and a stamped verse. Also some decorative metal corners on the front.

I have then made some note papers and notelets and each has a design on them from Winnie White Christmas coloured Toppers.  There are 45 different toppers in this set so plenty to choose from.

It was really quite easy but I think it makes a really useful gift.

Folded Christmas

It's Christmas over on the Polkadoodles Challenge and the theme is make a closure.

I've used 2 images for card. On the front is Noel Christmas Mouse and inside is Rudolph.

All the background papers are from Winnie Winterland Paper Heaven 5. I have coloured the images with Poychromo pencils.

There is a slot cut into the front of the card.

So when the card is closed they slot together.

Challenge time at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies. Our sponsor this month is Beccys Place and this is one of her images called little donkey.

I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. I've raided my left overs box for the background papers this time. Thought I would give this donkey a bright, cheery background.

To finish I added some ribbon and bow, card candy and a sentiment I've printed off my computer.

Just a little abstract

I would like to share a card I have made using a new stencil from Sweet Poppy stencils
called Abstract. This is something a little different for me.

I made a background paper using distress sprays. Then put white paste through the stencil. Then to be good and use up a pot of mixed glitters from other Sweet Poppy project, I've sprinkled that over the top.

Then I have cut that into 4, layered them and arranged them onto a patterned paper background. Finally I have wrapped some cord round the card with some going over the top and others underneath. A little arty I hope you agree.

Piper loves Poppies

The theme for the new challenge at Polkadoodles is to add something from the garden.
I love Autumn colours so I thought I'd be seasonal as Autumn is here and the trees are changing colour.

I've used the Polkadoodles image called Piper. I've coloured her with Polychromo pencils. I've cut her legs out then die cut the rest of her in a circle so she looks as if she is sitting in the circle.

The patterned background is from the Polkadoodles paper set Trick or Treat Halloween papers 1 and the papers die cut in the circles is from paper sets Work and Play 3 and Twiggy and Toots 3.

The Poppy seed heads are out of my garden and the wheat to add some colour. Finally the sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations sentiments 3. Some of my favourite autumn colours.
