Black and White Pooch

I had the idea to keep it monchrome, one of my favourite ways to colour , so I coloured the image with graphite pencils. The paw prints are a stamp from my stash. To finish I have added a black and white ribbon and a sentiment.

Summer is coming Helga

It's another slimline card for the new challenge at Polkadoodles.

The Image is called Helga Hippo Hello. I've coloured her with polychromo pencils. The background papers are from Helga Hippo paper heaven 2.

The image I've used is Winnie Big bunch. She does have a beautiful big bunch of flowers.

I've coloured her with Polychromo pencils. The background papers are from Polkadoodles

I've used a Sizzix dies for the rosette with a large gem in the middle.

Octavia in the Pink

I haven't made a slim card for such a long time.

So for the new challenge at Polkadoodles I've done just that.

Spring Soft

I want to share a recent card I've made using Sweet Poppy Stencils. I wanted to make something in soft colours and I'm quite pleased how it came out. 

I've used a few stencils in the background, they are the oval, heart, narrow triangle and circle.

I've used distress ink Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Scattered straw.

The the main image is the Indian Moth stencil. I've then used a shade darker distress ink so that it stands out from the background but not to strong.
