Summer has arrived here in the UK as we start the month of June.
So today is the start of the new challenge at
Our theme is always anything goes
but please make a critter the focal point of your card.
This is a stamp from Sweet Poppy Stencils, called Hare, and it's in the sale only £6 reduced from £17.99 and includes the sentiment on the card too. What a bargain. It's a perfect looking hare which I've coloured quite simply with Copic pens. Then, so as not to detract from the image I've put it on die cut layers using a stitched edge rectangle. Then just the sentiment from the stamp set to finish.
I would like to enter this in the following challenges
Allsorts - ATG
613 Avenue create - For the Guys
Stamping Sensations - Furry Friends
We Love Stamping - Nature
Pattie's Creations - ATG
C R A F T - ATG
Passion for Markers - 4 Legged friends
Classic Design - Masculine
Farmquest General Store - Farm/country

Your Hare is fabulous Janet, using a minimal amount of colour really lets the image shine through, a beautiful card, it's perfect for both our themes at Stamping Sensations and We Love Stamping challenges, than you so much for joining us.
ReplyDeleteGreat bargain as well, guess where I'm off to now?

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful hare and the sentiment is wonderful too. thank you for bringing him along to Allsorts party! Sarah
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Janet for sharing your hare's portrait at FQGS! That's the impression that I get from the image. It's like a painted portrait of the hare's best head's angle! We love seeing rabbits shared at FQGS! I've got some wild rabbits running around in my yard now! A young momma had a couple of babies birthed under our back enclosed porch and deck. The babies are still small but out and about fending for themselves now. They're so cute. This momma will come within three feet or less of our dog and he just ignores her presence. However he loves to wander all around the house and yard tracking their scents! Go figure! Take care! -- Becca
