Oh No

It's time for a new challenge at the Crafty Catz.
Our challenges are now fortnightly.

Our  sponsor this time is Dr Digi
and this  one of their images called Keep Off the Grass.

The theme is Anything Goes
with the optional twist of Make me Smile.

The images has been coloured with polychromo pencils, The background card is an old sheet from me stash from Kanban. I've die cut some grass, in two different shades of green, across the bottom of the images. Then I've just added a circular sentiment. It is a really funny images and I bet many dog owners have experienced this embarrassment.

Monkey see, Monkey do

Our sponsor is All Dressed Up
and this is one of their images called

The theme this time is no patterned paper.

This amusing Monkey is coloured with polychromo pencils and die cut. I have kept it quite monochromo in shades of gray with just a hint of pink. The background of the card has been done in shades of gray distress ink using a stencil. The sentiment is a pre-printed one, not sure where from, it's background layer has been punched out.

last Christmas snowflake

Just one last Christmas card to share. I tend to put my christmas craft supplies away now for a few months so this is the last one for now, or the first one of 2024.

For this card I first took a square of plane white card and die cut a snowflake out the side using the Sweet Poppy snowflake die. I then put that card through an embossing folder to add the pattern. On the base card I stamped a Stampscapes cabin in black so it would be in the centre of the snowflake aperture. Then I've added distress ink to the image, plus a little pencil colour to the cottage. Then a sentiment from Christmas Tidings printed sentiment set. I quite like this final card.

Tiger Kraft

It's the first challenge for the Critter Crazy challenge on the 1st day of 2024.

So here we start with another year of critter love.

It's still always anything goes but make sure that critter is the main image on your creation.

This lovely tiger, from Sweet Poppy Stencils, has been stamped onto kraft card. Then coloured with polychromo pencils. The kraft card seems to intensify the white pencil. Then just a stamped sentiment that has been embossed in white.
