Grey Florals

Better late than never for todays new challenge at the Crafty Catz.

Our sponsor this week is Beccy's Place
and this is one of their images called Wild Rose.

The theme is Anything Goes
with the option of black/grey and one other colour

I have coloured the image using polychromo pencils using black and grey and just a touch of red in the centres of the flowers. Then I have kept it quite simple and made the layers black and grey with a red layer to match the centre of the flowers.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges

CAS on Sunday - Flowers
2 sisters on the blog - no more than 3 colours
Lets Create - Sentiment
613 Avenue - red for anything but a heart

  1. What a stunning card! I so admire clean and simple designs, because I find them incredibly difficult to accomplish. Your card is elegant and beautifully planned out. Love the monochrome(ish) flowers. Thanks for sharing this with us at The Paper Shelter!

  10. A lovely image and you've coloured it beautifully! I particularly like the pop of red in the flower centres and how you've picked up the red with the matting! Thanks for sharing with us at 613 The Avenue Create, I hope we’ll see you again soon!
Hugs, Kate (Cards a la Kate)!
