and this weeks theme is
Happy New Year or Celebrations
My card is a celebration of a long married life with a 70th Wedding Anniversary. I don't think there are many of those. I have choosen to do quite a simple design. The colours are simply white and burgundy. I have used an embossing folder to make the background of white card layered onto burgandy. I have added a piece of burgandy ribbon across the centre to make the join between the top and bottom pieces of white card.
I have then cut a white doily using a Cheery Lyn Die. The swirl leaves have to be one of my favorite
Cheery Lyn Dies so i have put one top and bottom.
A very simple but effective card I think.
