Laughing Llama

Welcome to 2026, Happy New Year to all of my blog visitors.

I Hope it brings you everything you wish for.

So on to the first challenge at Critter Crazy.

We are still an
Anything Goes with a critter Challenge.
So  please make a critter the focal point of your creation.

I've made a really quick easel card. With a bright floral paper in the background. The image is a printed image this time, I love this laughing Llama, just perfect for a friend of mine. The sentiments have just been printed off on my laptop. I've added some card candy to decorate the corners.
I know she will find it funny.

Happy Christmas

Well it's only a few days left till Christmas so I thought I would share one last card.

I first did this technique many years ago but it's still really effective but simple to do.

I would like to wish everyone that visits my blog

A very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year

Iris folding is really simple. It can be done with basically any shape. Although this is a much simpler way using just vertical lines. I've used pearlescent papers which add a bit of shimmer and added a gold bow at the top of the bauble shape. Then just a Christmas sentiment.

Vintage Christmas my Deer

Well we have finally arrived at December, which makes this the last critter challenge of 2025.
I'm not sure where the year has gone.
So here is my inspiration card for this
Critter Crazy Challenge.

Please remember to enter you have to have a critter as the focal point of your card.

I do like this prancing Christmas deer. I've coloured it with polychromo pencils. The vintage looking papers are christmas releases but they don't really look christmassy. The sentiment has been die cut, then just a little snowflake charm to finish.

Merry and Bright

I have been invited to be a Guest DT member for November at

The theme for this challenge is
Merry and Bright

I've been using my Sweet Poppy stencils again to make this quite simple design.

I've used a poinsettia stencil and Versafine Clair inks to create this design. I've just layered it up using matching coloured card. Then I've added the Merry and Bright sentiment. A really quite quick christmas card ideal if your a person that likes to make the same design for everybody.

Crane Away

Here we are at the start of another month. It's a nearly the end of another year, don't they go so quick.

So we have a new challenge over at

Our theme is always anything goes
but please make sure that an animal is the focal point of your entry

I've gone for inky stencilled layers today. The first layer was the blue circles. Then the green leaf layer. The 3rd layer was the Crane done in black. All these stencils are from Sweet Poppy Stencils, although the first two are discontinued. The I added some sentiment stamps the blue words are a second generation stamping. Then the final dreams sentiment. I did feel my Crane needed a little white eye

Just a girl and her pony

It's my turn to host the new challenge over at

I have pick the optional twist for this challenge which is
wet or dry embossing

Our sponsor this time is
And this is one of their images called

Isn't this the perfect images for all those little girls that love horses. I coloured it with polychromo pencils. Then layered it up on pink to match her top and boots. The flowers round the edge of the base card are stamped in yellow and then embossed with clear powder. There are tiny yellow flowers in the image so these stamped ones match with those. The sentiment has been die cut.

Prancer

Today see's the start of a new challenge at

The theme is always
Anything Goes
but please make sure that a critter is the focal point of your make.

This is the first Christmas card of 25 I've made. I've die cut a 7 inch circular card base.
Then for the inside of the card I've die cut a circular patterned paper to decorate the inside. With a verse/greeting added on sticky pads higher at the back than the front to make a stop.

The image of this cute reindeer has been coloured with polychromo pencils. I then die cut another circle in white card the same size as the card base. Using a stencil from Sweet Poppy called Large Holly, I've used the stencil twice to decorate this circle. Then layered the Christmas deer on the top. Plus a Christmas sentiment to finish.

Then by folding the front of the card base in half and attaching the second circle with the image on I have this nice easel card. With the pose of this reindeer I just had to call him Prancer.
