Let's go Floral

For the new challenge over at the Polkadoodles I've gone a little floral.

The image is called Crocus from the Darling buds of May series.

I've coloured her with Polychromo pencils using some lovely pastel colours. The background papers are from winnie Sugar sprinkles paper heaven 5 and paper heaven 6.

 

I've completed the design with some flowers and lace.

Only a Rose

A little project completed this week using some of my favourite Sweet Poppy products.

I have made this using a new stencil called Single rose. I've used Distress  Oxides through the stencil for the rose and then coloured over the top with Polychromo pencils to add a bit of depth to the colour.

 I've made a frame for this using dies. There is 5 layers of card, it was a bit of a fiddle to get them to all line up, it makes a nice depth of frame and it's nice and firm instead of one layer of card on foam pads. I then stenciled just the leaves round the frame. Then just a greeting to complete. Perfect for a birthday for the one your love.

Bright Candles

This is my inspiration for this months challenge at the Colour Crazy Craft Challenge.

Boy and Candles.

 I've coloured him with Polychromo pencils, made his candles quite bright and cheerful. To match that I've pick bright papers from my left overs. I think it's quite satisfying when you actually use some of all the leftovers that we keep.

Reach for the Stars

Here is my inspiration for the new Polkadoodles challange.

I've used a Sparkles Unicorn called Love you to the moon and Stars.

I coloured the image with Polychromo pencils. The bright papers are from the Sparkles rainbow papers.

They are so bright and cheerful. Because the papers are quite bright I kept the background a little calmer.

 There is a punched border and cotton ribbon along the join in the background papers and a stamped sentiment.

Mothers Love

It's Mothers day at the new Polkadoodles challenge and I've made a circular easel card.

The card base was made using large size dies. 

The image is Amelia with Basket, I've coloured her with Polychromo pencils. The background papers are from  Helga Hippo paper heaven 1 and paper heaven 4.

I have completed the design with a bow and some pearls round the edge.

Cute PPinky

I love Ppinky Doll images and haven't had time to colour one for ages. So I'd like to finally share this one. I've recently found out they don't seem to be available any longer, which is a real shame, Unless anyone can tell me different.

I Have coloured her with Copic pens. There are lots of layers on this card. A patterned background and die cut circles and a paper doily which has been inked to add a bit of colour to it.

The image has been die cut too. The stamped sentiment has been punched out. A matching piece of lace across the bottom. Finally lots of flowers, they just have to have flowers, and a bow.

Gnome Love

There is a new challenge at the Polkadoodles challenge.

This is one of their images called Gnome much Love.

I've coloured the image with Polychromo pencils. I did 2 images and die cut them a slightly different angles to fit in with the square design. The back ground papers are from Winnie Special moments paper heaven 1 and Helga Hippo paper heaven 1.

I've put 2 sentiments from Sentiment kit 3 in the other 2 squares. Then 2 small roses to trim.
