Today see the start of a new challenge at

Our sponsor this time is

And this is one of their images called

The theme this time is
Girly

I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. As the theme is girly I've had to make the colours pink. So the is a pink patterned background paper with pink layers. Then a piece of pink lace ribbon. Some nice pink cndy dotd in the corners. Then a birthday banner to complete.

She does look quite happy that it's her birthday. Maybe she's having a party.

I'm over Hare

It's February already, spring is getting closer.

So today we have a new challenge at

Our only rule is to make a critter the focal point on your creation.

This is a stamp from Sweet Poppy Stencils, Hare set. I've stamped it with a water based brown coloured ink. Then used a brush and water to pull the colour out and so shade the image. I've just added some yellow for the flowers. I've kept most of the background papers in the brown shades to match the hare, but added a yellow ribbon to match the flowers. The sentiment also comes in this stamp set, and it's in the sale so a really good  price right now. I think this image would suit both male and female occasions.

Granny Ballet

Let's have a new challenge.

It's over at the Crafty Catz challenge.

Our sponsor this week is
and this is one of their images called

Our theme this week is
use blue/green

This image is a really fun image, made me smile anyway. I've coloured her with polychromo pencils. I've kept to our them this week and the colours I've used are pretty much all blue and green.

All the background papers are a matching shade too. Then I just added a sentiment which I think is relly apt for this image and that is "age is just a number". Which I think is quite true and never think you can't do the things you want just because of age.

Well we are a week into 2025 and I just didn't realise.

There is the first challenge of the year over at

Our theme as always is
Use a critter
And please make sure it is the focal point of your card.

for my card this month I have used a Sweet Poppy stencil. I've used white stencil paste through the stencil, the when is was fully dry I've coloured over the top with alcohol markers. There are a couple of patterned papers used for the background. Plus for some dimension a piece of hessian and some buttons. Then just a sentiment to complete.

Gifted with Love

We have arrived in December and Christmas is just around the corner.
So here is the final challenge of 2024 for

Our challenge as always is
Just make a critter the focal point on your card.

This image is from Hetty Clair and  it's called Pony Loveheart.  I've coloured him with polychromo pencils. Although not intended as a Christmas image, I still think it goes ok. I've kept it as a quite simple design with just a red border and a mix of snow paste and stickles glitter glue for the snow effect. Then a sentiment of sending love at Christmas to go with my pony's heart shaped gift. It's been put on a kraft card base.
