It's very Pheasant

Would you believe it's August, where is the year going.

SO it's time for a new challenge at Critter Crazy.

our theme is Anything Goes but make a critter the main point on your creations.

This is made with stencils from Sweet Poppy. I love stencils, they are so versatile. You don't even have to use the whole stencil. For this one I've used the stencil  a stencil called Inspire but I've only used the pheasant and it's been coloured with polychromo pencils. The tree branch is also a stencil called Cherry Blossom this has also been coloured with pencils.

A little Christmas

 I thought I would share a Christmas card made using s new Poinsettia stamp from Sweet Poppy Stencils.

I've stamped it 3 times. The first two directly on to the card and the third stamped onto separate card and cut out. They've all been coloured with polychromo pencils, 2 quite lightly and the cut out one more so to stand out.

The verse inside is from a Sweet Poppy Christmas word set called Merry and Bright. To highlight the words I have used a Stencils Holly Backplate to create a frame.

This is the last challenge before our summer break over at Crafty Catz.

This is one of their images called Christmas Angel.

I've coloured the image with polychromo pencils. and added some 3d paste to her fur  cuffs and collar. The background is done with stencils from Sweet Poppy. Then just a bow and sentiment added to complete.

Isn't this little elephant so cute. I've coloured it with polychromo pencils. I kept the design quite simple and does made the background with distress inks and a Sweet Poppy stencil called Symphony. I have then just stamped the word joy.

Himalayan Poppy

Well we are now in our summer months here in the UK.

So for the new challenge at the Classic Design challenge I have used a beautiful flower image.

and this is one of their images called Peony.

Our theme is anything goes..

I know it's called Peony but I just saw a poppy and had to colour it like a Himalayan Blue Poppy. It's coloured using polychromo pencils. I kept it quite a simple design with just a dark blue frame. The sentiment is from Sweet Poppy stencils.

What a busy day as it's the 1st of the month.

It's new challenge time at the Crafty Catz challenge.

I've coloured him with polychromo pencils. I wanted to keep him tropical looking so I've added a floral background paper. Then a couple of big fancy silk flowers and some die cut leaves. A birthday sentiment completes the design.

My little pony

 

It's the 1st of July so half the year is behind us, where did that time go.

So it's new challenge time at the Critter Crazy challenge.

As usual this is anything goes but must use an animal.

I seem to be having a thing about horses at the minute and there are so many cute images around to use.

This one has been coloured with polychromo pencils.

There is a wood effect paper in the background and the other plaid piece has been done using a Sweet Poppy Stencil called Plaid. It's mostly all monochrome but with just a little red added to his mane and harness.So I picked that up with a bit of check red ribbon.
