Love is in the Hare

Wow it's the 1st of February already. So it's time for  a new challenge at Critter Crazy.

The theme as always is use a critter.

For this I've used  Sweet Poppy stencils.

Aperture full  heart, Palm Leaves backplate, Nocturne.

 

I've combined the heart and palm leaves to make the heart shape. Then just used the bunny from the Nocturn stencil. Then just decorated down the side with a ribbon.

Tropical Pink

There are new products available at Sweet Poppy Stencils,

and this is one of the new stencils called Tropical Backplate.

I've used white paste through the stencil and let it dry. Then I've coloured over the paste 

with alcohol pens.

Using lovely vibrant pinks. Such a great 3D looking piece.

When It's cold outside you can't beat curling up in front of a warm fire with  good book.

I've coloured it with Polychromo pencils. I've used the plaid/check papers in the background. There is a piece of hessian across the top corner. Then just a Happy Birthday sentiment. Great mans card.

I've coloured the image with Polychromo pencils. The caterpillar is coloured to look like a Swallowtail butterfly caterpillar. then I've just added a sentiment which is from Sweet Poppy Stencils.

Happy Moo Year

Happy New Year and lets start it with a fab new challenge.

It's the Critter Crazy challenge and all you have to do is make an animal of sort the main focus on your card.

For this card I've used a Sweet Poppy stencil called Isla the highland cow. I've pasted white stencil paste through the stencil and left it to dry completely. Then I've coloured over the top of the dry paste  with Copic pens. The panal at the bottom uses the Plaid backplate. That has been inked. The last bit of decoration round the sentiment is a piece of ribbon and some grass seed heads.
