Christmas for Hobbycutz

Hi and welcome to my first card for the Hobbycutz Challege as a DT member. I am enjoying working with all my fellow DT members and getting inspiration from all the lovely samples.

Our sponsor is The Stamping Chef and this is one of their lovely images.

I've coloured the image using Tria pens and the edge has been distresses with festive Berries. I have used quite a few die cuts from Spellbinders and Joy Craft dies. The card base is a Stepper card that I have cut the card centre out and replaced it with snow patterned acetate.

I'vr added some paper flowers to the die cut Swirls, some lovely cotton lace and a red ribbon bow.

I have put some snow effect liquid on the dress and hat trim to make it look a bit like fur and a few gems to complete. I think she is a lovely image.

Birthday Dragon

Thanks for popping over to see my latest card. I am pleased to be the Guest Design Team Member for Through the Craftroom Door Challenge for the next challenge which is Anything Goes. The sponsor for this challenge is Eureka Stamps and this is one of their images, he is cute.
I have coloured him in with Tria pens.

I have put him on a type of concertina fold card which I have covered with wavy stripe/spotty paper. I have decorated the edges of this paper with a Martha Stewart punch and then cut out some Memory Box die fern leaves and IO dies grasses.

I have cut the image out using a Spellbinders Die and the layers are Go Create Large Dies using Tim Holtz Distress card.

I think he is a really nice image even if he is about to set his cake on fire.

In Oz

I've had a productive weekend and here's another card I've done. This time it's a digi image from Sherri Baldy's Besties of Oz collection. I love these images and this is the first card I have had chance to make using them. The image has been coloured using Tria pens. It has then been cut out using spellbinder's dies.

The card base is cut out using a Martha Stewart punch around the page set. Then I have added some dried grass heads because I felt it seemed a little autumnal in colour and they suited the image. A couple of butterfly charms and the little dog charm I thought looked just like Toto. And lastly the sentiment is a Lili of the Valley stamp. For the first colouring I've done in a while I felt quite pleased.

By The Seaside

It looks like I've chased away the sun by making this seaside themed card. It's been heavy rainy downpours for the last couple of days. but hopefully the sun will come back again soon.

I have made this card using Clarity Stamps, one of my favourite brands. They have been coloured using Tim Holtz distress markers. I have added some real tiny shells for good measure. The aperture has been cut using a Go Create large die.

Butterfly Baptism

This is a very popular style of card I make I get lots of order's  for this decorative book on an easel card base. This one was ordered by a friend of mine for her granddaughters Baptism. She love's butterflies so I thought I would decorate this card with them for a baptism card but a bit different from normal types of decoration.

The book shape is a Go Kreate large die,the heart boarder is a Martha Stewart punch and the white card layer has been embossed with a Crafters Companion embosselicious folder. The Butterflies are Cheery Lynn dies cut out of glitter card, then I've just added flowers and words. I gave it to her this morning and she loved it.

This to me looks like an English beach early on a summers morning. I thought is quite apt for the beautiful weather we are having at the minute, long may it last for me. Saturated canary

This is the first image I have coloured for a long time. I went out for a day's colouring at Sir Stampalot using Saturated Canary images and this is one of the cards I did. I used Tria pens to colour her in.

Thank you ladies, you have brought back my desire to get out my pens and colour again. I hope you don't mind if I enter this card in a couple of challenges as the colouring is all my own work.
