Blue Daisy

New challenge time at

Our theme is
anything goes

.
More of one of my favourite techniques. This is a new stencil to me from Sweet Poppy called Jasmine. I have used white paste through the stencil onto black card and let it dry over night. Then I have coloured over the white paste with alcohol pens. Then I have simply layered it with matching colours onto a white card base and added a sentiment. Quite a simple technique but I think it really stands out.

Mottled Gold

What a busy couple of weeks, my heads just mush, but I'm here now for
this weeks challenge for

It's now
ATG
so just enter and have fun.

I thought I would try something a bit different for this time. I've still used my favourite Sweet Poppy Stencil, this one is called Cosmos. This time I've used a mixture of gold and white paste through the stencil to give a marbled effect. It gives a soft, misty effect which I'm quite pleased with the end result especially combined with the kraft card. Then I've just finished it off with the birthday sentiment.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges
Alphabet - Wild flowers
Creative Knockout - Birthday Wishes
Ellibelle's Corner - anything garden
Stencil Fun - Use a stencil
Triple B - Blooms

Sleepy Koala

It's nearly spring here in the UK.
And to day is the start of a new challenge at
Critter Crazy.

Our challenge is just for fun,
but please make a critter the focal point of your card.

This cute sleepy Koala is an image from All Dressed Up and it's called Koala Hugs.
I've coloured it with polychromo pencils. There are 2 patterned papers that make the background. Then I've just added a sentiment as I think the image is so cute on it's own.
