Bird on a Wire

New month new challenge at

It is always Anything Goes
but please make a critter the focal point of your card.

I've used 3 different stencils from Sweet Poppy Stencils for this card. To start with I taken the circle aperture to put the initial colour through. Then with the Torn Rectangle I've added extra texture to the colour. Next, having removed the stencils, the small Stampscape trees have been stamped either side of the circle. When all the ink is nice and dry I've taken the bird stencil and pasted it with black paste.

Night Fuchsia

Welcome to the new

All our challenges are now
Anything Goes,

I thought I would try out the Faber Castel Black Edition pencils. The fuschia stamp was stamped and embossed with gold powder. The coloured in with the pencils. It was layered up with a gold matt onto a white card base. The a simple greeting stamped in gold on white card. Not to sure of my thoughts on the pencils yet, maybe will have to play a bit more to decide.

Floral Feather

The Crafty Cats challenge has returned today.

But there is a slight change as there are now no sponsors so it
will be just for fun.

So theme for this challenge the is
Anything Goes

I recently went to a crafty get together with a group of friends. We were doing some inky stuff and I came home with lot's of left over bit so this is a card I came up with to use some of those bits. The panel is an inked and embossed with a stencil from Aall and Create. The  plain white embossed piece with a torn edge. The floral feather is a new die and the greeting is a die cut to.
Quite quick and simple, but effective I think.

Laughing Llama

Welcome to 2026, Happy New Year to all of my blog visitors.

I Hope it brings you everything you wish for.

So on to the first challenge at Critter Crazy.

We are still an
Anything Goes with a critter Challenge.
So  please make a critter the focal point of your creation.

I've made a really quick easel card. With a bright floral paper in the background. The image is a printed image this time, I love this laughing Llama, just perfect for a friend of mine. The sentiments have just been printed off on my laptop. I've added some card candy to decorate the corners.
I know she will find it funny.
