Beanie Girl

It's new challenge time over at

Colour Crazy Craft Challenge.

and this is one of their images called Beanie Girl.

I've made a card with lots of folds and added leaves. I think it's because I liked this 12x12 paper from Magenta so much I didn't want to cover it up.

I have coloured the image with my alcohol pens. I have then die cut 2 layers and folded them in half to make a new page then mounted the image on top.

I have cut another set of die cut layers and put them on the other side of the card with the Happy Birthday greeting on.

I just didn't want to cover up pretty flower on the paper on this layer. And I've die cut a flower spray in green, then again in purple glitter card for the flowers. I think the second photo probably shows the various folds best. I think it's very girly.

My inspiration card for this months challenge at

Make my Monday.

The theme is

messy background

My messy background is on the inside of the card really. It has been done with distress inks and a Clarity Stamp leaf stencil onto white card and then mounted on black card.

The front of the card is acetate. I have used white paste through a Sweet Poppy stencil called

 Tall Trees. I have then put glitter over the top of the paste.

On the inside I have die cut letters to form a good old fashioned saying. I love these stencils and paste. enjoyed this one.

I have used a Clarity Stamps Ivy leaf stamps, Which I have stamped and embossed in green. I have then coloured the leaves with pencils.

The background card has been embossed with a folder from Sheena Douglas, And the word has been die cut.
