Summer Flowers

It time for a new challenge at Make my Monday.

The theme this time is Summer Colours.

I couldn't make up my mind on colours so I made 2 versions of my card. one with bright strong colours and the other softer colours.

The backgrounds on both have been done with distress inks.

The stamp is from Indigo Blu, I think this is a lovely stamp. I have stamped 3 layers in grey, then black and finally white embossed.

I have added a simple sentiment stamp and then some candi decoration.

Life's a Beach

I am rather chuffed to say this is my first card as a guest design team member for

Make my Monday. I'm looking forward to joining in with the team for the next 3 months.

The theme for this months challenge is At the Beach.

I've made a beach scene which is all die cut, then paper pieced to give a little character to the picture.

The background to the hammock  scene has been coloured using distress inks. There is a patterned paper behind this all but It doesn't seem to show up well on the photo.
