Think Pink

Welcome to this weeks challenge here at Hobbycutz. This weeks theme is a photo inspiration of lots of pink. This will be my last card as a member of The Hobbycutz DT my current 6 month term has come to and end, so for now I will be moving on to other things.

This a really cute image, I have had for a few years now, from The Secret Crafter.  I have used a punched paper border down one side and a strip of ribbon horizontally.The flowers are a Crafters Companion quilling flower die finished off with punched leaves and pink stickles. The sentiment has been cut with the new Scan and Cut machine from Brother and there is a Hobbycutz wooden corner to finish it off.

I have enjoyed my few months on the design team and I hope the new members will have as much fun when they take over in couple of weeks.

Floral Circles

I have had a busy few days when my computer would let me, rogue programmes getting into my computer one minute a it would work and then it would says the files were missing. But I think it's gone now, touch wood. Now down to business.

This is my inspiration for this months Crafting Cafe challenge of Wet or Dry Embossing. Our sponsor is WOW Embossing powders.

A simple black and white design using 2 embossing folders, a stamped floral design with different parts die cut into circles and a little bit of glitter, then some gems and pearls added. I hope it inspires you to have a go and enter our challenge, you may win a fab prize

Valentine Love

Welcome to this weeks Hobbycutz challenge, the theme this week is Valentine or Love. Our sponsor is The Paper Shelter and this is one of there lovely images called Adorable Cinderella.

For the background design I have used a Craftwork Cards paper pack and have used the colour in her dress to match. I have coloured her using Spectrum Noir pens and Prisma pencils,

I have just added some ribbon and a bow because I liked the pattern on the paper I wanted you to be able to see it.

This is a bit late but it's here now. This is my card for the Aud Sentiments challenge and the theme is Valentine. Our sponsor this week QKR Stampede and this is one of their images called Treasure Chest. I have coloured the image using Spectrum Noir pens and Prisma pencils.

I have made this card very girly and pink, not something I do very often, using punched flowers and leaves plus some paper lace which has been coloured using the pens too. The sentiment is very simply "with love".
