Winter Robin

I have had a break over Christmas but I have finally finished this tag. This is the second one I have done, I did 2 background scene's at the same time but it took a little longer to finish this one as I have hand-drawn the fence at the bottom and then stamped the robin on and coloured them in.

All the stamps used, (trees, robin, word), are Clarity stamps. I was really pleased with the design, with the Robin being the only coloured part, the rest being monochrome, he really jumps out the background. I also added a little snow paste to the tops of the fence. I hope we don't have to many winter scenes like this in the weeks to come.

Snow Deer

Just an extra little post today in the form of a tag. I have been playing a bit and trying different ideas.
The night sky on this tag has been done using the Spectrum Noir BG pens. The deer has been coloured with the same colours.

I have only added a couple of extra bits, a star done in Stickles and a snowflake in glitter card using a  Marianne die with a gem in the centre.

A simple sentiment on the top finishes it off.
I decided to keep it quite simple as I really liked how the background scene came out.

Pass the Parcel

Another Sunday and another great challenge from Hobbycutz. This weeks theme is
All Tied Up
The sponsor this week is Kenny K and this is one of their images called Freshman. Please come and join in and see if you can win this weeks prize.

I have coloured her in with Spectrum Noir pens, the colours I will list below. I have used a striped yellow and turquoise paper as background and the matting layers have been done on coordinating plain card stock. The image has been placed on a white die cut frame. There is ribbon in the same 2 colours horizontally and vertically to represent a parcel, for the all tied up theme, with a ribbon rosette with flowers and feahers on the bottom left corner. The final piece is a wooden Swirl corner from Hobbycutz which has been covered in yellow glitter to match in with the colour sceme.

Sand Art

It's time for the new Hobbycutz Challenge. The theme for this week is Make a Scene, which was chosen by me. Our sponsor form this week is The Stampin Chef. Why not join in and see if you can win.

The image I have used is called Neema and I have coloured her in using my Spectrum Noir pens. I have gone over her dress with the clear Wink of Steller glitter paint pen, it looks really nice but unfortunately is doesn't show up on the photo. I have made the coloured Cartouche using UTEE and a rubber mould,

The scene is done with distress inks and then stamping over the top, then the ferns and hieroglyphs have been added to add a little depth.I hope you like my little creation.
