Spring Peony

This is my card as guest design team member for Ching-chou Kuik.
The image is called Peony Kimono Maiden. The theme is Spring/Easter.

The image was coloured with Copic pens.

As it's an Oriental image and the theme is spring I have die cut branches and flowers that I thought looked like Cherry blossom.

Then I've added some oriental type embellishments, a metal fan and a charm. Plus some ribbon and a birthday sentiment.

I was really pleased to be picked as GDT for this challenge, Thank you.

Spotlight Rose

It's time for this months challenge at Crafting with an  Attitude.

Our sponsor this month is Morgan's Artworld and this is one of their images called Valentine.

With a little inspiration from a team member I printed of the image and left it as line art. Then with the second image I coloured that in with Polychromo pencils and punched out 3 circles and decoupaged them over the first image. It's gives a spotlight of colouring. Then just a die cut sentiment from Tattered Lace and a very simple CAS card. I hope you like it.
