Christmas in June

Hi here at
The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge
It's Christmas in June.

This weeks prize is from The Secret Crafter herself Wendy. So join in this week and you could win yourself a lovely bag of crafting goodies.

For my card this week I have used a metal stencil from Dreamweaver. The background is just done using ink through the stencil, placed randomly, leaving the bottom corner free for the main image.

The main image uses the same stencil and double sided adhesive sheet. You need to put soap on the back of the stencil so that it doesn't stick to the sticky sheet permenantly. Then glitter is added to the sheet just pale green to the leaves and red to the berries. This may sound odd as the leaves are two shades but the other bit come later. Remove the stencil and put white or irridescent glitter over the rest. Then place the stencil back over the image and colour the edges of the leaves with dark green permenent pens. Then it is just layered onto pearlescent green card to finish.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Belle

Hi all and welcome to this weeks

This weeks theme is the idea of  Linda and it is
Red, White and Blue The Queens Official Birthday.

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique a prize of 3 digi's of your choice.

For my card this week I have used a Sugar Nellie digi called Belle. I have coloured her using Tria Marker pens. She has been cut out using a Spellbinders scalloped Oval. This has then been layered on to a Cheery Lynn die Called Polynesian Sails. The square layers have been edged using Martha Stewart punch around the page punches.

I have put her on an easel card. and the final decoration is some flowers and die cut leaves using a Marieanne die. I think she is so cute.

Canvas in Blue

Hi this weeks I have decided to put on the other canvas I did a couple of weeks ago. This one is more random. I have used blue and yellow distress inks all over the back ground. I have stamped a swirl a across the canvas and a script stamps top left.

To add a little dimension I have put lace across the opposite corners and a couple of large yellow flowers with a little glitter in the centres. I love the colours in this, quite summery.

Tag It

Hello and welcome to this weeks
And this weeks theme set by yours truely is a nice, simple
Anything Goes

Our Sponsors this week are Crafter's Companion with a £10 voucher

and Digi Darla Designs with 5 digi's of your choice.

Good Luck

I've done tags for my entry. Having seen some done recently and I have not dabbled with any for I while I thought it was a good time to start playing again.

This one has been coloured using distress inks. The leaf image is stamped and then has a little glitter on it. The sentiment is stamped in distress ink. and the leaves and flowers are punched and a little glitter in the flower centres.
This one is also coloured with distress inks and then over stamped with the image which has been embossed with clear powder. Before you do this make sure your distress ink is completely dry or the powder will stick to it too, although this can be done for a different effect. Then the butterflies are punched out of patterned paper and a little glitter added.
This one is a bit different that the tag has been covered with a patterned paper and then distressed around the edge. The sentiment is stamped onto it with versafine. The flowers have been die cut, then some extra cust into the petals. They are coloured using well watered distress ink on a mucky mat so they are quite wet and then screwed up to add a bit more texture. This makes them quite hard when they are dry so they hold the shape better too. The butterfly has been stamped onto the tag, then a second one onto spare card, which is coloured and cut out and then put on to add extra dimension.

I would like to enter these in the following challenges;
