All White

Welcome to this weeks new challenge on
which this weeks them is
White on White (minimal colour)
Our sponsor this week is Heather's Hobby Haven and the prize is  $15.

My card this week was a sudden last minute inspiration and really very quick to do. Which is a good job as I haven't been very well for a couple of days. I am late putting this post on this morning, normally it would have been done last night ready to go but I yesterday evening in bed poorly.
This card as I said is quite simple,it's an C5 size card but I have cut a couple of inches of the front so you can see the inside edge. The background card has been embossed with the Sizzix swirls embossing folder and a piece of white ribbon to cover up the join as it had to be embossed in two sections (we need bigger folders really).I have added a few gems to the ends of the swirls on the bottom section of the card.
The heart is a white ready made doily, which I have added a little Tim Holtz Distress Ink to in Tumbled Glass to to make it stand out a little from the res of the card. The flowers in the centre are from Magnolia, I think they a really beautiful if a little expensive. I have then added a large white ribbon bow to the top.

On the inside corners of the card I have cut two corners using the Marianne Designs new corner dies. They have been distressed slightly to with the Tumbled Glass, although again you can hardly see it, it just makes them look a little less white. Very simple but very pretty I think, it would make a perfect wedding card.

Bingo

Welcome to this weeks new

Choose any row of three items either down, across or diagonally.I chose Brads ,Flowers and Bow.

This weeks sponsor is The Stamping Boutique and the prize is 3 digi's of your choice. So go on, have a go, you never know your luck.

For my card this week I have used a Tilda again. She is coloured with Tria pens.
The base card is a large scalloped circle. I have used a Cheery Lynn large doily die, I really like this die and it is approximately 7 inches across, cut from a turquoise card. I have added a small white doily in the center and Tilda is layered on the top.
The white leaves are cut using a Marianne die and the flowers, in turquoise, yellow and white, are cut using a Spellbinders die, with brads in the center. Above Tilda's head is a two layer bow of white lace ribbon and a green/yellow ribbon.

To finish I have added a small Happy Birthday greeting on two punched out leaves and put turquoise gems around the edge of the base card.

Ivy Fairy

Welcome to my second card as guest DT member for Craft your Passion. This weeks theme is a recipe of 1. Ribbon or Twine
           2. Design Papers
3. Buttons
An the sponsor this week id Delicious Doodles and Ivy Fairy is one of there digi images. I think she is so beautiful, I have loved using her and she is so good she hardly needs colouring. So I have only just added a hint of colour using Tria pens.
The card is back with a delicately patterned paper. My fairly has been cut out using a Spellbinders Die and layered onto a darkish green card. I have also added a little glitter to her wings.Well fairies must have glitter on their wings. Also I have done a second wing which is cut out and decoupaged.
Across the center of the card is a stripe of green card a different patterned paper and a broad grograin ribbon, and the stamped sentiment which has been cut with a punch and also layered onto green card.
I have then created Ivy leaves to make a frame round the fairy. These have been done by stamping them onto green card, I have used to shades of card, with Versamark and then dusting them with green Perfect Pearls powder. This gives them a lovely irredescent shimmer. I have sealed the powder with a little light spray of hairspray otherwise it tends to rub off when handled. The leaves are then cut out and arranged around the top of the card. I quite like this one.

I have entered this card in the following challenges

Geisha Tilda

Welcome to this weeks new
The theme this week has been chosen by the lovely Jane and it is
Red, White and Black with texture.

This weeks sponsor is Digi Doodle Shop and the prize is a $10 voucher.

Now on to my card and in my mind red and black says oriental. So I have had to use my Japanese Tilda stamp. She has been coloured with Tria Markers and cut out using a Spellbinders die and layered onto red card.
The background paper has been made by stamping a Oriental script stamp with Versamark ink all over black card and then is has been dusted with Perfect Pearls pearlescent powders in red. I have then wrapped a white ribbon around the middle with a white bow and tassle.
Across the bottom right of the card I have put 3 carnation type flowers. These have been made using a 1.5 inch scalloped punch and cuting out 10 circles in patterned paper. Join the all together through the center with a brad. Then starting at the center each layer is gathered tightly up untill all layers are drawn up, squeeze them up well, then one by one pull them apart gently and they come out looking like a carnation. They add a lot of texture to the card.

I have just added a simple greeting to the top. Red and white card layers cut using the same die as the main image and on it is love in Oriental text. May I just add, after finding I have been chosen as a top 3 winner and being a Guest Design team member for February, how much I appreciate these awards and all the lovely comments I receive for my cards. It's good to know that peaple other than myself like what I do. But I am still see other people's work that I really strive to be as good as. :)X

Valentine Bear

Welcome to my first card as guest design team member for the month of February for
This weeks Sponsor is Little Miss Muffet and Doodle Pantry and the theme is
Anything Goes + No Designer Papers

Being as it is nearly Valentines Day I choose the Valentine Bear image from Little Miss Muffet. He is really so cute. I have coloured him with Tria Markers. I decided to do a nice heart shaped card, cut from a hand drawn template, and made into an eisle card. The top layer heart is cut from red mirror dot embossed card. The leaf swirl is cut from lemon card using a Cheery Lynn die and I have added some yellow paper roses to it. The edge of the heart has been decorated with yellow gems.

The inside of the card has been simply decorated with hearts cut from the res mirror card and a simple Valentine message. A card full of love for some one special.

Love is in The Air

Welcome to this weeks
which this week has been set by fellow teamy Helen and is
Hugs and Kisses.

Our Sponsor this week is Crafters Companion and the prize is a £10 voucher, what a great prize.

For my card this week I have gone digi. The image is from Joanna Sheene's Faye Whittaker CD. I habe used the hearts backing paper from the same CD. A strip of read distress card from Crafters Companion which has been edged with a Martha Stewart punch is across the middle of the card. The next layer up is a blue patterened paper layered on to dark blue. A red ribbon has been wrapped around this layer and tied in a knot to the left side of the picture.

The picture has been printed twice so that I could decoupage the bears. There is a little glitter glue on the shimmering sea and glossy accents on the moon. The picture has been layered on dark blue distress card.
I have taken a bunch of red paper roses and two leaves and wrapped a little of the ribbon around the stems to to make it look tidier. These have been attached to the left of the picture with the stem just tucked under the ribbon knot. Very romantic and sent with love.
